Vendôme Circle has designed a gourmet moment for you in the pure French tradition: a tea tasting around exceptional products that will immerse you in history through an aesthetic experience.
It was around the middle of the 17th century that the Court of France discovered the tasting of tea and its consumption remained, in France, at least until the 19th century, closely associated with the aristocracy. Since the ritual of tea is imbued with such refinement and elegance, it is necessary to carefully choose each element that will be included in it.
We have selected a tea from a small production in Taiwan, embellished with local rose petals, which goes wonderfully with a rose jam dedicated to the memory of the famous Rose Pompadour from the Manufacture de Sèvres. To these are added biscuits from a Parisian biscuit factory: their delicate flavours go perfectly with those of tea and jam.
We offer you two towels signed Vendôme Circle. They represent a motif of griffins, acanthus volutes and candelabras which appear on the Institute of Art and Archeology, in Paris, and on the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, in the Roman Forum.
Tea by Vendôme Circle is a timeless gourmet moment that will allow you to immerse yourself in a unique aesthetic experience.
